Easter Night Thursday April 2nd, 6pm!

Here is the Easter box/basket and card that we will be making on Thursday night April 2nd at 6pm at the Mitchell Church of Christ FLC. Cost is $7.
I apologize for the fuzzy picture, but at least you can get an idea of what it is. I opted to not use the two easter eggs in the box because the bright colors just seemed to overpower the pastels. Instead there is a clear bag with candies in it tied with a matching ribbon. The card is CASEd from www.splitcoaststampers.com (from user "MrsBoz") which was CASEd from the Mojo Monday Blog (www.mojomonday.blogspot.com ). (Sorry I have to give credit :)
If I haven't already heard from you, let me know if you'd like to come! Thanks!

Tulip Street Card Making Night

Here are two cards I created for a Christmas Card class for some gals at the Tulip Street church. The "Happy Holidays" card uses the "Big on Christmas" Set and the snowman card uses the "Mr.Twigster" set from the holiday mini. I love the twigster! He is so cute. Thanks for looking.

Season of Friendship

Hey girls! I just recieved this Season of Friendship stamp set from Mr. Brown! It is out of the Holiday Mini Catalog. I
ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT!! There are literally a million different things you can do with it. The sentiment says "The season of friendship lasts forever." The baby girl card is for one of Matthew's cousins and it is kind of funky for a baby card but I like it. I especially love the fall and winter cards. They both have a felt accent on them. The snowflake is from the little felt flurries (holiday mini) and the orange leaves are part of a flower cut off from the accents and elements kit out of the main catty. These are really fun and add a different kind of dimension that I like. I've never used them before. Thanks for looking- I had a blast making them. Take time this weekend to make some seasonal cards!

Halloween Treats Class

Here are some really fun treat containers I just made using the "Batty for You" set and the "Ghostly Greetings" DSP. The black box is a "2, 4, 6, 8" box, the skull paper is a "diaper-fold" pouch, and the white bag is an "envelope treat bag". They are so much fun to make and super easy!
This class will be held Thurs. Oct. 2nd at 6:00pm, cost $10 and includes all supplies needed to create these three containers! Let me know if you would like to attend. klcanada@hotmail.com

Altered Chipboard

So I've had this clipboard from Stampin' Up sitting around for a while (ok, like a year) and just got the inspiration to use it from this precious photo of Owen and some new Stampin' Up paper! It is super easy to create! I used whisper white craft ink for the top half and covered the lower half with the new Bella Rose DSP (designer series paper). Then I added some chocolate chip 5/8" grosgrain ribbon. I also used the "perfect" stamp from the "Define Your Life" set and a chipboard letter "P" next to it. The finishing touch is the beautiful hat pin adorned with crystals and pearls I stuck through the ribbon. This comes in the "Pretties Kit". The great thing about these clipboards is that you can switch out the photo as you'd like! It's also nice that they come in three different sizes, I'll definately be using them again (sooner than later)! Thanks for looking!
